Steppin’ Out

Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria. // 9.27.14

Dress: Akira Chicago; Necklace H&M; Shoes: Louboutin.

Love this dress — adds just the right amount of edge.

Nothing like matching the decor!

My fav statement ring from Henri Bendel.

The classics are always best.

The spread at Balsan.

Dress: Akira Chicago; Necklace: H&M; Shoes: Louboutin.

I enjoyed a very nice date night with my guy this weekend. We went over to Balsan at the Waldorf Astoria for a cheese plate, some champagne and good conversation. I wore a new dress I recently got at Akira and paired it with my classic black Pigalle Louboutins. Nothing like accidentally matching the decor!

Completely un-fashion related but I’ve noticed that you share a peek into what you went to do in your super adorbs outfit & I’m actually going to Chicago in about 10 days. Do you have any good club suggestions or brunch/party spots? Something like Pranna in NYC.

Hi Sylvia, Absolutely! As far as clubs go, I like Untitled a lot. It’s an underground speak-easy-que spot that changes over to a reg DJ/club as it gets later. Drumbar at the top of the Raffaello Hotel is also a really cool spot. As for brunches, Carriage House in Wicker Park is my fav and has amazing bloody marys. If you need any more recommendations let me know. Have fun on your trip to Chicago. It’s a great city!! xo – Katie
