eShakti. // 10.26.14
Dress: eShakti; Shoes: Louboutin.
The fabric of this dress is great. Very comfortable and the fit is amazing.
Love the pockets.
Love the details.
I recently received a dress from online custom clothier eShakti. In my unbiased opinion, I must say I had a pleasant experience. I gave them my measurements, chose the dress style online and received it in the mail about two weeks later. The dress itself is a little tricky to get on at first, but once on, the fit is great. The fabric is slightly heavier – very cottony, so you if you like a cotton fabric, this dress is for you. I love the style – it’s very 1960s-classic chic. I can see wearing it to a dinner party or possibly to tea. I paired it here with some nude Louboutin pumps. Overall, I really like the dress, the fit and the fabric. The style is exactly what I was looking for, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dress with a custom fit.

Sunday afternoon at the ballet. // 10.26.14
Dress: Free People; Shoes: Louboutin.
Perfect fall floral dress.
These nude-colored Loubs went perfect with the color of this dress.
Love this pattern.
Obsessed with these sleeve buttons.
If you live in Chicago, you know the past few days have been BEAUTIFUL! Like 70 degrees and sunny. I totally wouldn’t mind all of fall/winter being like this. I went to the ballet Sunday afternoon, and, since it was so nice out, wore this floral dress from Free People. Both the muted color and the long sleeves made it perfect for fall. And how about those buttons on the back and sleeves?!
Weekend in Michigan. // 10.19.14
Sweater: Free People; T-shirt: H&M; Leggings: TopShop; Boots: Hunter.
Scarf: Akira Chicago.
I bought this scarf last year from Akira, and it was hands down the best purchase I made all winter. So warm, so cozy and the fall colors are so chic! It’s like wrapping a sweater around your neck.
Highly recommend Hunter boots for a fall hike.
Gorg Michigan foliage.
How amazing is this?
Ok, yeah, I like fall — as you can probably tell from my last few posts. This past weekend, the guy and I went up to the lakehouse in Michigan for a little fall R&R. We hiked in the woods, along the beach and I enjoyed all of it in this super cozy new sweater from Free People and my ALL TIME FAVORITE scarf from Akira. It’s so cozy I can’t even begin to tell you.
Sunday in Wisconsin. // 10.12.14
Jacket: Joie; Scarf: Rag & Bone; Jumper: Wildfox; Jeans: Hudson; Boots: Hunter.
Obsesed with this jacket — it’s warm enough for those chilly 50-degree days, but not too heavy.
Broke out the Hunters for the first time this year.
Literally in love with this scarf — it goes with almost anything.
Perfection — and, yes, I took this photo.
Took a day trip up to Wisconsin this weekend to enjoy the fall. It also gave me the opportunity to break out my Hunter boots for the first time this year as well as my new favorite fall jacket from Joie.
Sunday stroll. // 10.5.14
Top: Ace Delivery from Nordstrom; Jeans: Hudson; Shoes: Adam Tucker.
A great plaid top is a must for fall.
Love the colors of this top.
Obligatory blogger shot.
One of my must-haves for fall is a great plaid top. I got this one by Ace Delivery at Nordstrom. I paired it with with some leather Adam Tucker flats and my favorite pair of Hudson jeans and was ready for a Sunday walk along the Chicago river with my guy.
Sunday chillin’. // 9.28.14
Sweater: Nasty Gal; Shorts: H&M; Shoes: Louboutin.
Love a good varsity stripe.
Love this sweater — adds a little edge to my fall wardrobe.
Nasty Gal makes some really chic pieces, and this one is one of my favs.
The varsity stripe sweater is everywhere this fall. I recently got this cute sweater from Nasty Gal, and I absolutely love it. It’s great with a pair of ripped jeans for a comfy chic look, or with these leather shorts for a slightly more edgy, evening look.

Nothing like matching the decor!
My fav statement ring from Henri Bendel.
The classics are always best.
The spread at Balsan.
I enjoyed a very nice date night with my guy this weekend. We went over to Balsan at the Waldorf Astoria for a cheese plate, some champagne and good conversation. I wore a new dress I recently got at Akira and paired it with my classic black Pigalle Louboutins.

Sweater: Urban Outfitters; Scarf: Nordstrom BP; Shoes: Tory Burch.
Bag: Badgley Mischka.
Love the back of this cozy knit sweater.
Scarf: Nordstrom BP; Necklace: H&M.
Still obsessed with these Tory Burch Serena flats. Love pulling them out every year.
As much as I hate saying goodbye to warm breezes and the sun in general, I am excited to cozy up in warm knits — like this new sweater from Urban Outfitters. I paired it with my fav fall Serena flats from Tory Burch, and volia, comfy chic.
Dinner at Le Bouchon Chicago. // 9.13.14
Sweatshirt: Wildfox; Shorts: H&M; Shoes: Steve Madden.
Leather shorts add a bit of edge.
Love this graphic sweatshirt — it can be dressed up or down.
Obsessing over these.
Date night drinks at Le Bouchon Chicago.
Graphic t’s are everywhere right now. I’m not a huge fan of the trend, but I do love Wildfox quite a bit. So, I decided to dress up the trend by pairing this sweatshirt with leather shorts for a little edge and these new Steve Madden pumps that kick ass.
Evening out. // 9.8.14
Romper: Nordstrom Rack; Sandals: Steve Madden.
Love this late-summer laid back look.
Necklace: Urban Outfitters; Bracelet: Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Love a good romper.
Fall is almost here. And while I’m not too pleased about that, I have managed to find some cute pieces that incorporate fall colors in semi-summer styles. This romper from Nordstrom Rack is one example. It’s super chic and still has a fall flavor to it.
